Oil Spill at 24’’ Ogoda-Brass Pipeline at Obodhi

The Team assessed the spill area; found the soil around the spill point disturbed. Upon mechanical excavation of the soil and exposure of the line, the team observed: • 2’’ threaded coupling was installed illegally on the line at 12 O’clock position by unknown persons for the purpose of oil theft. • NAOC’s Right of Way and adjoining vegetation were the impacted areas.
