Oil Spill at 18’’ EOC-OGODA Pipeline at Owube

The Team assessed the spill area; found the soil around the spill point disturbed (see figure 1). Upon mechanical excavation of the soil and exposure of the line, the team observed: • 140mm hacksaw cut was inflicted on the line at 12 O’clock position by unknown persons for the purpose of oil theft (see figure 2). • NAOC’s Right of Way and adjoining vegetation were the impacted areas
