At 1709hrs on 03Apr2023, VMT Marine reported to Edop OIM about sighting sheen at Asasa VA facility by security vessel on patrol. Edop Personnel were promptly mobilized to location to ascertain source of sheen and stop it. At 1828hrs, personnel arrived Asasa-VA and traced the sheen to oily water from sump tank skid due to heavy rain fall.
