Excavation was carried out mechanically by the use of an excavator, and at the point of which the 12" pipeline was exposed , the JIT observed a failed 1" ball valve installed at 12 O' Clock position of the pipeline by an unknown person's for crude oil theft activities. There was a spill recorded as at the time of JIV. There was an impact within and outside company's right of way. Repair was done by clamping of the affected point of the pipeline.
