On arrival at the site on the 13th of August 2019, the JIV team discovered a raging fire emanating from the pipeline. The firefighters in the company of the JIV team was able to put out the fire after much battle. On the 14th of August 2019, the JIV team returned to the site at about 12 noon and during the investigation, it was discovered that the pipeline was vandalized by unknown person(s) at an 11 O’clock position and there were visible signs of hacksaw marks.
