Oil Spill at 12'' IMO RIVER 2-OGALE PIPELINE ODAGWA ,ETCHE L.G.A, RIVERS STATE

i. The excavation was carried out manually and at the point of which the 12’’ Pipeline was exposed, the JIT observed 2 different existing clamps showing previous repaired point. ii. The team observed a locally fabricated clamp with 1’’ ball valve installed at 12 O’ clock position of 12’’ Imo River 2-Ogale pipeline by an unknown person for crude oil theft activities. iii. There was no spill recorded as at the time of investigation. iv. All activities carried out was within the company(s) Right of Way.
