Oil Spill at Biseni Manifold at Biseni, Yenagoa LGA, Bayelsa State.

i. Oil contamination occurred within the manifold area and extended beyond the company’s Right of Way. ii. The Spill affected vegetation and was also observed in a nearby flooded water channel. iii. The source of the spill was confirmed to be the failure of the ligament valve gasket at the manifold facility, which lost sealing integrity under operational pressure.
