Oil Spill at 14’’ Ogboinbiri-Tebidaba Pipeline at Ogboinbiri

i.The incident point was covered by water and bubbles as at the time of initial investigation. ii.The surroundings were heavily impacted, the spill affected both the ROW and outside the ROW. iii.Upon excavation, the JIT observed that there was a tear of about 45cm at 6 o’clock position on the 14’’ pipeline. iv.An embankment was formed to contain the spill from flowing down the slope.
