The spill point was characterized by signs suggesting interference and possible induced corrosion including removed wrapper of the pipe, a smooth rather than rash corroded surface about the spill point, as well as a regular pin-hole which was the spill point. The spill was only limited to the company's ROW and could be seen on surface water and liitle vegetation.
